Ingredients:
- 1 avocado ripe
- 2 slices bread any kind, sourdough is my favorite
- 1 clove garlic cut in half (skin on)
- salt, pepper and spices
- lemon juice optional, from a fresh lemon is best
- extra virgin olive oil good quality
Instructions:
- Halve the avocado and scoop out the pit.
- Toast bread to your preference.
- Gently brush the toast's surface with the chopped side of a fresh garlic clove while it's still hot.
- Using a spoon, remove the avocado flesh and mash it onto the bread using a fork.
- Add a dash of pepper and salt.
- Garnish with olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice, or top with chosen toppings.
- Serve right away.
